A comfortable and safe stay at Sunshine Bay is our life long mission and our promise to our guests before, during and after the Covid-19 outbreak. Since the pandemic, we updated our policy and implemented further steps to ensure everyone’s safety according to World Health Organization and local authorities.

Cleanliness & disinfection

Bungalows are tended with the utmost care with guest accommodation disinfected between stays. Our cleaning staff washes linens, towels and laundry in accordance with local authority guidelines and uses cleaning chemicals that are effective against coronavirus. Guests have the option to cancel any cleaning services for their accommodation during their stay.

Physical distancing

We honor the Covid-19 physical distancing rules within our premises alongside available cashless payment.

Safety features

Sunshine Bay staff follows all safety protocols as directed by local authorities. The lodge has been equipped with available hand sanitizers in guest accommodation and common areas as well as first aid kits and access to healthcare professionals. Thermometers are being provided to our guests by property along with available face masks.

Food & drink safety

Experience Zanzibarian cuisine without fear in our premises, where physical distancing is followed in dining areas and all plates, cutlery, glasses and other tableware are being sanitized after each use.
